Have you tried it yet? Since May last year, using electronic tickets (such as EasyCard, iPASS, and icash) to ride the "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle" routes to scenic spots grants you a 50% discount on regular bus fares. Places like Kenting, previously considered far, are now more accessible with the Kenting Express Line "【9189】 Zuoying High-Speed Rail Station - Xiaowan," taking you to the Taiwan's southernmost tip! Paying with an electronic ticket costs only NT$176, which is cheaper than taking a taxi or renting a car. Hurry up and share this great news with your friends and family, and let's head to Kenting together!

In response to the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the Kaohsiung- Kenting Route Joint Operations Center have planned to increase the number of schedules on the "【9189】 Kenting Express Line " to 58 schedules, with additional services added as necessary based on passenger demand. Standing tickets are not available as Kenting Express runs on expressways, so passengers using electronic tickets are advised to reserve seats in advance at the Kenting Express service counter at Zuoying High Speed Rail Station Exit 2. For information on bus schedules (including low-floor bus), real-time vehicle dynamics, and stops, etc. Recommend to download the Highway Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communication "iBus APP" or the website of "iBus Information System".

Additionally, during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday (from June 7 to June 10), the Highway Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications' is implementing a transfer discount for bus passengers. If you take a national highway bus or Taiwan High-Speed Rail and transfer to the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle route within 10 hours, full-fare passengers will enjoy a further discount, getting a free basic mileage (or one-section fare) transfer in addition to the original 50% fare discount.

Observing the gradual recovery of domestic tourism, many people are joining tours for vacations. To prevent the bus drivers from experiencing fatigue or working overtime, which can affect the safety of passengers and drivers, Li, Jui-Ming, the chief director of Kaohsiung Motor Vehicles Office, reminds tour operators that vehicle rentals must comply with article 84 of the management rules of the automobile transportation industry. Drivers should adhere to the specified driving time regulations, and the total working hours from check-in to duty completion should not exceed 11 hours. The public is also urged to choose their tour groups carefully to avoid early departure and late return one-day tours, which can lead to speeding and overtime issues as drivers rush to keep to the schedule.
